[Toy Review] Hook from Combiner Wars: Devastator

So Devastator will be out soon (hitting stores 1 August for $299.90 guys!), and here’s a look at dear Hook of the Constructicons. Thanks for sending him over, Hasbro!

His robot mode is not bad, and his arms feature some articulation at the elbows, although not in the traditional up-down way.

His titular “hook” rests on the floor, and also acts as his third “leg.”

Because of his back support, you could conceivably have Hook execute more dynamic poses.

Or just have him swing his “hook” at people. I really should start calling it a crane.

His vehicle mode is not too bad either.

Would be nice if the crane could extend, but then you’re not really buying the Constructicons to play with them as vehicles, are you?

There’s a good bit of detailing there too.

This should give you a sense of the relative size of Hook as a vehicle.
