Bonecrusher (the only Constructicon whose name made it to the first live action movie) in all his glory! He’s part of Combiner Wars Devastator, which pops up in stores 1 August at $299.90! Our Hasbro buddies kindly drove Devastator over for a quick peek at him.
Despite his name, Bonecrusher doesn’t really crush anything. Rather, his alternate mode kind of scoops or lifts things.
He also doesn’t look like he could actually crush bones, or that he does.
Do Transformers have bones? Why would a name like Bonecrusher even exist in the Transformers universe too?
I think he should have swapped names with Long Haul, but then, IMHO. Long Haul looks more like the bonecrushing type.
His alternate mode is pretty sweet though, and he can actually scoop things up.
Which means that I really should pit Bonecrusher against Scoop.
Green treads.
You can almost hear the beeps that come from it backing up.
And here’s him from behind.
So I’ll be taking a look at the rest of the Constructicons through the week, and Devastator too!
