Context: I’m pursuing a WSQ Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE). As part of my first module, CM1: Develop Practice Through Reflection (RP), I’m keeping an online journal of my reflections with artifacts (pictures). I’ll also be adding some notes and advice for future DACE learners. Hope it works out!
At some point in CM4: Develop Curriculum and Instruction for Adult Learaning (DCI), you’re going to have to do e-learning for the Delivery Strategies (ie, teaching methods). Nowhere is this listed on the schedule for DACE (for reference, they do list down the required number of hours of e-learning for other modules), so this is a heads up – you will probably need around 150 minutes (viewing videos) and 100 minutes (doing the mini-assignment) for e-learning, which is approximately 6 hours.
That’s a significant amount of e-learning time required that IAL really should have included into the schedule, but… the administrative folk didn’t. However, my trainer for this module, BT, is wonderful – and his resources, technology, and guidance have more than made up for the omission in the schedule.
Anyway, here are all the 33 e-learning videos you’ll need to watch! Putting it all on one webpage for my convenience (and yours too), so you can watch on the go without logging in.
Update: IAL/SUSS’ legal team contacted me to tell me that I’m not allowed to list the videos on my site, so I’ve taken it down. You’ll have to watch it the hard way on Canvas. All the best for your DACE!
