OK so I realised I haven’t been putting the currency in the prices, leading to confusion that it’s in USD. It’s in SGD. Yeah.
So here’s the convention-exclusive Devastator! The coolest thing about him is that he comes with a pretty awesome box, which you really should keep as a display piece somewhere. I think the box is as much a part of the whole package as Devastator himself is.
There’s two parts to his box – a jacket/sleeve cover, and the box itself.
This is the box itself, and it has a window to allow you to take a peek at Devastator inside.
It mixes his traditional colour scheme of green and purple.

And the side. But OK, enough with the teasing about the box. Let’s move on to the real thing.
Devastator! He comes preassembled, unlike the regular version, so you can take him out and have him start hammering the Autobots immediately.
Personally I would have preferred him to to be the G2 Devastator (ie, yellow), but with the slew of G2 Combiner Wars products coming next year, that might very well be when G2 Devastator turns up.
His chest plate is now his logo. Nifty!
And here’s Devastator unboxed! He comes with a fairly nifty diorama that looks like a homage to this Japanese picture of Devastator being constructed.

If you’re wondering, it’s not just chromed parts. He also has a different head.
For reference, this is the head that he comes with.
And here’s old regular Devy’s head. Which do you prefer?
His chest piece also comes with much more detailing, in addition to being chromed. It’s fairly hardy consider I dropped him (ouch) and he still looks unscathed.
All of the vehicles include additional detailing as well, but come on, you’re not going to display him as individual robots right?
So here’s Devastator in all his glory!
Nope, can’t fit into a Detolf shelf. You’ll need to give him two shelves for his height.
